Nice to meet you
I believe therapy is about building on your strengths, not focusing on your weaknesses. I became a therapist after experiencing how difficult it was to find a practitioner who understood the cultural nuances that I was experiencing, in addition to being relatable. That’s why my work with clients is rooted in cultural humility, client-centered, eclectic, and always trauma-informed. I believe healing is a communal process and does not have to look one way.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Acting from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. My additional training includes a post-baccalaureate certificate in Sex Therapy from the University of Minnesota. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Clinical Sexology from the Modern Sex Therapy Institute and working towards AASECT Certification.
You’re the expert on your life! My job is to help you make sense of it, one step at a time.
