Nice to meet you

I believe therapy is about building on your strengths, not focusing on your weaknesses. I became a therapist after experiencing how difficult it was to find a practitioner who understood the cultural nuances that I was experiencing, in addition to being relatable. That’s why my work with clients is rooted in cultural humility, client-centered, eclectic, and always trauma-informed. I believe healing is a communal process and does not have to look one way.

I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Acting from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts and a Master of Science in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Johns Hopkins University. My additional training includes a post-baccalaureate certificate in Sex Therapy from the University of Minnesota. I am currently pursuing a PhD in Clinical Sexology from the Modern Sex Therapy Institute.

You’re the expert on your life! My job is to help you make sense of it, one step at a time.

My pride and joy:

“Rarely, if ever, are any of us healed in isolation. Healing is an act of communion.”
